What we do through SAIE

Research at the SAIE lab falls into three interrelated themes: Archaeology, Climate and Ecology, and GIS/Remote Sensing. Our lab members have projects that span the globe from North America to Europe, Central and East Asia, and from Siberia to South Asia. Take a deep dive into how our projects aim to understand the formation of social landscapes from ancient to modern times!
